A reading page worth signing off on
Markdown in, beauty out: metadata panel, callouts, tables, and a color-coded section rail that doubles as navigation. Reviewers select the exact text they mean — comments anchor to the quote and stay highlighted for everyone. No accounts needed to review: one link is the whole onboarding.
The board shows you where the heat is
Zoom out and the document becomes a map: one card per section, each carrying its open-comment count, resolved tally, and reading time. The ribbon on top is the whole review's pulse — sections, open threads, what's still awaiting approval. Click any card to drop into that section alone.
One section. Its comments. Nothing else.
The Reader is a room for a single section — comfortably typeset, with only its own threads beside it and a pager to walk the document section by section. Built for the reviewer who said "I just want to look at one thing at a time."
Threads end in decisions
Resolving a thread can carry a verdict — a decision, a revision request, a new open question — so the review's output isn't a pile of comments, it's a change list. The project page shows exactly how many threads still await one.
Claude Code closes the loop itself
Tell Claude Code to fetch the review. It pulls every thread live, applies the decisions with you, interviews you on the undecided ones, writes the verdicts back, and pushes the next version. Versions are immutable; Smartifakt never edits your markdown.
Built for agent workflows
Personal API tokens (created in-app, shown once, revocable anytime) give your agent exactly the author's powers: list projects, push versions, read reviews, close threads with verdicts. The Smartifakt skill for Claude Code wraps the whole reconcile ritual into one sentence:
"Fetch the review for smartifakt.com/r/… and reconcile."
